		<description>I recently got started doing business with John Gerlach and just for fun googled his name. What a surprise. When I asked him about this mess, he told his side of the story and actually I believe what he told me. He was 49% owner . The other guy was the bad guy. That is the short of it but here is why I believe him: John still works with many of the national accounts that he met while working with Gift Assistant. The fact that these big companies still are willing to work with John tells me that at least they believe that HE was honest.</description>

		<description>So, if I call the owners directly on their cell phones, I have a shot of getting my money back?  You can read my story by going to www.ripoffreport.com and querying &quot;gift assistant.&quot;  There you will see my rantings about this horrible company and their unethical and illegal dealings.  It is time for the Ohio Attorney General to step up and sue them.  It&#039;s a class action suit, but easier done by the AG than a plaintiff&#039;s lawyer.</description>

		<description>Through my research on The Gift Assistant, I was able to locate Aaron who informed me of the status of the company. He also gave me enough information to assist me in contacting the owner\&#039;s. I was able to convince them to refund my money (all of it). I was just probably lucky to get to them early enough and surprised them with my ability to get to them that they complied.
Thanks Aaron, I hope the two owner\&#039;s find financial ruin. They definitely deserve it.

I know from my own disturbing experience with The Gift Assistant that, when I contacted you, you personally did everything you could to help me get (at least) some of my money back.  You went above and beyond, and I truly appreciate it.  I consider my experience with The Gift Assistant a lesson well-learned.
